A gold plated center contact is now standard on their entire family of mobile antenna mounts including permanent hole mounts as well as trunk and magnetic mounts. With an all brass mount structure and gold center contact, these mounting kits may be the most corrosion resistant mount kits available. "Gold plating on the center contact provides for minimum corrosion and best power transfer at this critical point of the mobile antenna system" reports Tony Berg, Business Development Manager for Antenex^®. The new gold plated center contact improvement is in addition to the current gold plated push pin contact deployed on their mobile antenna products, which completes the Antenex^® All Gold Contact Advantage.
