Heights, IL April 12, 2004-- The Antenex dual band RF and GPS Survivor
antenna was chosen by Siemens A.E., the prime communications contractor
to the 2004 Athens Olympics. The Antenex product was chosen over those
of other European and North American competitors.
The Antenex Olympic dual band antenna belongs to the Antenex Survivor
family which combines a wide range of frequencies with GPS. Frequencies
offered include VHF, 220 MHz, UHF, 700 MHz, 800 MHz plus a 26 dB gain
active GPS antenna. This product family features a black chrome whip
and shock spring. There is an integral chrome plated 5/8 inch diameter
mounting stud with stainless steel hardware plus 14 feet of coax for
both RF and GPS. The ruggedized Survivor has a potted base for long
life.
Antenex Survivors have been deployed on construction equipment, railway
rolling stock, and a variety of public safety vehicles. The Survivor
is becoming the multiband GPS antenna of choice where long life and
high performance are required in mission critical applications in demanding
environments.
