ANTENEX® FINDS VICTORY LANE WITH

Antenna Approved By NASCAR Winston Cup Series
03/18/97
-- The PhantomTM antenna,
approved by NASCAR Winston Cup Series three weeks ago has arrived
in Victory Lane for the third straight week.
In the racing debut of this innovative antenna
design, Jeff Gordon posted a victory as he was one of four cars
equipped with the PhantomTM
antenna. A week later, Rusty Wallace raced to victory lane sporting
two antennas; 6 other Winston Cup drivers have also added PhantomTM
antennas to their list of high performance equipment. Dale Jarrett
was in Victory Lane last week, where the PhantomTM antenna was used on 14 Winston Cup vehicles.
The polarization diversity feature of the PhantomTM has maintained
the critical communication between driver and pit crew through
the banks and turns that sometimes interferes with regular,
vertically polarized antennas. This Sunday, March 23, they will
be racing in Darlington, SC starting at 11:30 Central Time.
Check to see if your favorite driver will try to bring their
PhantomTM
antenna into victory lane.
The PhantomTM
antenna features a new patent pending antenna element that has
"radiation diversity." This reduces the annoying drop
outs and dead spots encountered with standard antennas.
