Folded
Dipole ArrayTM
- New 9/1999

The Antenex folded dipole array is a heavy
duty, gold anodized and broadband antenna of the highest quality.
This high grain version is available in 1/4 wave and 1/2 wave
dipole-to-mast spacing to suit your specific pattern requirements.
Ideally suited for multi-coupled systems, it features internal
cabling and fixed dipoles. These antennas are well suited for
the most harsh weather environments and the anodized finish
maintains pattern performance over time.

2.4GHz
Enclosed Yagi Antenna - New 7/1999

The new YE series enclosed yagi from Antenex® features rugged construction that is superior
to the competition. This 2.4 GHz Yagi antenna is completely
sealed and cannot be disassembled by hand. The Antenex®
enclosed Yagi antenna is 12.5 dB gain, constructed of 15 brass
elements and has a folded dipole feed. The tubular radome is
18" long and 3" in diameter enclosed with two 2"
U-bolts for ease in mast mounting. This enclosed Yagi antenna
utilizes a heavy aluminum mounting plate, rather than plastic
like our competition, for long term survivability. The rigid
internal construction and air filled radome yields a higher
efficiency and greater performance than the stamped or printed
circuit versions. This entire antenna package is 1.6 lbs. and
comes with an 18" pigtail of low loss coax cable terminated
with an N female connector. The YE series has a VSWR of <2.1:1
from 2.4 GHz to 2.48 GHz and can be mounted outdoors in even
the most harsh weather conditions.

Mobile
Antenna Line in a New Molded White ABS Housing. - New 5/1999

Antenex mobile coil antennas, popular in
black are now available in white. Featuring the same UV inhibiting
all virgin ABS thermoset plastic as the black models but with
a "snow white" look for low visibility on white pursuit
vehicles or limousines. The white mobile antennas also feature
a gold plated push-pin contact, which has been designed to out-last
any leaf spring contact. These antennas are available with a
high gloss finish and offered in a wide range of frequencies
including; VHF, UHF, 800 and 900 MHz. Call 1-800-323-3757 for
further details.

Mountaineer
TM Fiberglass Base Station Antennas - New 3/1999

ANTENEX®
once again combines functional elegance with solid electrical
design and mechanical innovation in its MountaineerTM family
of vertical fiberglass base station antennas. ANTENEX® employs
an innovative heavy-duty radial system that allows for freedom
in mounting and longer radial life. Only high quality aluminum
and stainless steel materials that withstand severe weather
conditions are used.
All Mountaineer
TM antennas feature flexible 50-year rated weather seals on
all exposed joints as well as an improved condensation drain
system. Moving a threaded plug from the top to the bottom prepares
the antenna for inverted mounting. A special top cap allows
for a narrower taper with lowered wind loading, further improving
the design.
The woven
fiberglass radome, with its low visibility sky blue color dyed
into the resin, improves stealth characteristics. Adding the
dye to the resin during the fiberglass curing process locks
in the color. Additional high tech materials achieve a lowered
cross-section mass for lighter weight and reduced wind load.
ANTENEX®
uses an industry standard nickel-plated solid brass N-female
connector at the feed. This allows for a far better weather
seal and lower insertion loss than the SO-239 connectors used
in other antennas. MountaineerTM antennas have a cloverleaf-shaped
foam damper that is superior to the solid dampers used by other
manufacturers.
You can
also be assured of the highest quality and integrity for your
installation as each Mountaineer TM antenna is fully tested
for return loss, gain and proper radiation pattern prior to
shipment.
When you
need an antenna to withstand the most demanding conditions look
no further than the ANTENEX® Mountaineer TM.

Scada
MasterTM- No-Tune Yagi Antenna -
New 2/1999
Antenex®
SCADA MASTERTM is a rugged
seven-element yagi antenna with a folded dipole feed. All seven-elements,
including the driven element, on this 10dB-gain antenna are
made of solid 6061-T6 aluminum. Antenex®
SCADA MASTERTM is fully gold anodized for the ultimate
in corrosion protection and reliability. The balun for the dipole
is made from solid copper shielded Teflon dielectric coax and
is sealed inside the boom of the antenna. Latex construction
foam is then injected into the boom, which is filled from the
back to the front, leaving no gaps. This helps prevent moisture
penetration, which assures a long service life even in the most
severe weather conditions. With the combination of these heavy
construction materials the SCADA MASTERTM achieves excellent bandwidth and exceptional
efficiency. Heavy duty welded aluminum mounts are enclosed in
every shipment of each SCADA MASTERTM
antenna which, allow for both vertical and horizontal polarized
applications.

New Line
of No-Tune Scada Yagi's - New 1/1999

Schaumburg, IL - Antenex has announced
the release of its new No-Tune SCADA Yagi series. Adding to
its broad selection of antennas and accessories, this gold anodized
No-Tune Yagi series is manufactured for extreme weather conditions,
including ice, snow, winds up to 155 mph and temperature ranges
from - 150ºF to 150ºF. Using heavy duty aircraft quality
aluminum alloy, this 100% welded unit is electrically superior
and will not pattern degrade with time.
The gold anodized finish provides a corrosion resistant 20-25
year protection. The No-Tune Scada Yagi is also resistant to
environmental hazards such as salt water, acid rain and the
effects of the paper, oil and gas industries.
Each No-Tune Scada Yagi ships complete with a high quality mounting
kit that includes a heavy duty cast aluminum mounting bracket
and hardware at no extra charge. The antenna is available in
the most common frequencies from VHF to 800. Every No-Tune Scada
