Antenex®
Announces New
Fiberglass
Omnidirectional 2.4 GHz Antenna
Antenex®
has released a new family of fiberglass enclosed base antennas
for the 2.4 Ghz band. This 6dBd gain antenna has a VSWR of <2.0:1
from 2.4 GHz to 2.48 GHz and can be mounted outdoors in the
harshest weather conditions.
The FG series
of antennas have the same proven and highly robust outer shell
design used in their successful lower frequency fiberglass enclosed
base station family. A high gloss, heavy wall fiberglass radome,
a finish ground, schedule 80, gold anodized aluminum sleeve
for mounting and a gold anodized aluminum cap complete the highly
durable yet very sleek look to this product family.
Antenex® reports that the real advantage to this product is on
the inside where a rigid, highly consistent and low loss PC
board trace is used for the construction of the collinear radiator.
The product also features a nickel-plated brass N female connector
in the base for feed line connection. Antenex® also advises
the use of the FM2 extruded aluminum mounting kit it offers
for the ultimate in ease of installation and long service life.

SCADA Yagi 11/01

Antenex®
announces New SCADA Yagi Antenna
The Antenex
SCADA Yagi is gold anodized for corrosion resistance and
each element is fully welded to the boom. The driven element
is a sealed folded dipole with a built in balun transformer.
Each SCADA
Yagi also ships complete with a high quality mounting
kit that includes a heavy duty cast aluminum mounting bracket
with hardware at no extra charge. Our No-Tune SCADA Yagi
antenna covers the most popular frequencies. From VHF to 900
MHz, we have a model that will complete the job.
Antenex®
is a leading designer and manufacturer of top quality mobile,
portable and base antennas for two-way radio, public safety,
and mission critical applications. Many of our patented technologies
offer solutions unavailable from any other source. From the
field diversity Phantom family to the solid-state Genesis wide
band family, Antenex® products will meet nearly any application
challenge.

Multiversity
Indoor Antennas 09/01

Many 2.4 GHz users experience coverage problems indoors, due to lack or loss of signal. The new Antenex® Multiversity Indoor Antenna can maximize the flexibility and effectiveness of indoor communications. If your wireless data communication needs are in the 2.4 GHz band, the Multiversity antenna from Antenex® is your communication solution.
This versatile 3dB dual polarized patented field diversity antenna provides effective and clear communication for any in-building application. Field diversity means that the antenna is simultaneously sensitive to both the electric and magnetic fields of the signal -- like having two antennas. This makes the antenna resistant to the picket-fence fading and multipath nulls that are found in urban operation. The Multiversity picks up voice and data communications in buildings where a traditional antenna will not.
Installation is easy. The antenna does not require a ground plane and can be mounted anywhere from a ceiling grid tile to an office wall. The wall mount installs like a standard phone jack and the ceiling mount installs in 30 seconds or less in standard ceiling tiles. The antenna's shape and color make it the lowest visibility in-building antenna on the market!
Improve your phone and data systems coverage in-buildings, plants or warehouses with the Multiversity Dual Polarized Indoor Antenna created exclusively for these applications by Antenex®.

Mobile
Trunk Mount with Built-in GPS Antenna 08/01

The new
Antenex® TM8GPS trunk mount combines GPS and mobile communications
together in a unique system that provides the user with two-way
communication capabilities and a Global Positioning System receiver.
The Antenex
Micro GPSx receiver is a durable, high-quality antenna
designed for excellent (27dB active) reception, allowing the
user to pinpoint their location using the global satellite positioning
system. By combining the antenna with an industry standard NMO
mount, the TM8GPS system can be used for a variety of two-way
communication scenarios.
A non-staining
neoprene rubber cushion under the mount ensures that it will
not stick to or stain a vehicle's finish. This cushion also
isolates the mount against vibration, providing a firm and lasting
fit to the trunk lid. Made of type 302 stainless steel, the
bracket features a design that enables it to be mounted to most
new high tolerance trunk lid seams.
The TM8GPS
mount features a very low profile design and may be easily removed
for vehicle resale or fleet replacement. Stainless steel hardware
is also used on every trunk mount. You will not have any rust
or corrosion to mar your vehicle's appearance. Antenex mini-trunk
mounts are made entirely of nonferrous materials.

Enclosed
2.4GHz Yagi From Antenex 07/01

The new
enclosed yagi antenna from Antenex® is solidly constructed
and cannot be opened or modified by unqualified personnel. This
2.4 GHz antenna has a directional 12.5 dBd gain, with an outdoor
rated tubular radome.
A heavy aluminum mounting plate ensures long-term survivability.
The rigid laser-cut internal element yields greater performance
than stamped or printed circuit versions. The antenna has a
VSWR of <2.0:1 from 2.4 GHz to 2.48 GHz and can be mounted
outdoors in the harshest weather conditions.
