Setting Cookies in Common Browsers
Below are instructions for enabling cookies in the most popular browsers.
If you are using Internet Explorer 6.x:
- Choose "Tools"
- Select "Internet Options"
- Click on "Privacy" Tab
- Move the slider to "Accept all cookies"
- Click "OK"
If you are using Internet Explorer 5.x:
- Choose "Tools"
- Select "Internet Options"
- Click on "Security" Tab
- Make sure "Internet" is the selected zone
- Click on the "Custom Level" button in the "Security level for this zone"
- Scroll down to "Cookies" and select "Enable" button
- Click "OK"
- Click "Yes"
- Click "OK"
If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0:
- Choose "View"
- Select "Internet Options"
- Click on the "Advanced" tab
- Scroll down to the yellow exclamation icon under Security and choose one of the three options
If you are using Netscape Communicator 4.6 or 4.7:
- Select "Edit"
- Click on "Preferences"
- Select "Advanced"
- Set your options to enable cookies
- Click on "OK"
If you are using Netscape Communicator 4.0:
- Go to your Task Bar
- Click on "Edit"
- Choose "Preferences"
- Click on "Advanced"
- Set your options in the box labeled "Cookies"
